Volunteers

A talented and energetic corps of University of Illinois students fills an important niche at Prairie Rivers Network.  Many of the students volunteer through our Media Research Volunteer program, which includes checking media websites, combing through newswire emails, and researching newspapers in local libraries to identify river conservation stories throughout the state.  A number of the volunteers also help with mailings and other office work, as well as contributing their time and talents to projects Prairie Rivers Network is involved with.  The staff of Prairie Rivers Network recognizes, with deep appreciation, the volunteers who work with us.
